Eighteen of us put our best feet forward on Saturday 22nd March for our annual walk in aid of CAFOD. The venue was Watermead Country Park, and we covered a circuit of nearly 4 miles. the weather was ideal, and so were the ice-creams and coffees at the midway point! It’s good to see the trees coming to life, and there was plenty of bird-life too – one of us thinks he saw a bar-headed goose, but that’s open to question. We’ll do it again around about the same time next year.
