Through offering our support, we enable our people and our communities to grow, to become missionary and to thrive. We are working towards all of our churches becoming outward-looking churches.
Here in Burkina, we are continuing to work on setting up the school. My diocese is fully committed to this effort! We are still gathering funds, and in fact we have already begun classes with the little means we have, as the demand is so great. Many children are currently having lessons outdoors while waiting for the construction of new classrooms. We hope that by 2027 at the latest, the whole school structure will be in place to provide education for the children. It is also at the end of 2027 that I will be defending my doctoral thesis in Energy and Electrical Engineering in France. Our aim, therefore, is to complete the construction of the school facilities before my thesis defence.....Any funds sent to us will be properly allocated to this project, which is so dear to me, my bishop, and the entire diocese. Education of young people, especially in these times of insecurity and poverty, is truly a vital area of pastoral mission for our diocesan Church of Ouahigouya.
